Notes

  • Program notes:

The piece was written in 2016.The Concerto is composed of three parts attacca, where the first and the third parts are based on the technique of constant accelerando. This idea has been founded and developed by the composer in his newest works. It is based on a mathematical formula for even acceleration of tempo and a specific algorithm derived from it, shaping the rhythmic and textual side of the work. The central part is static, and the main elements shaping its course are changes in dynamics. An innovative approach to the agogic is an absolutely fascinating aspect of this work. The solo parts – in a complete symbiosis with the orchestra part – are treated in a very original way.
