Biography

Alex Nante is one of the most recognized argentinian composers of his generation. Having studied with Luis Mucillo, Peter Eötvös and Stefano Gervasoni at the National Conservatory of Paris and winner of several international awards, Alex has received numerous commissions for orchestras, ensembles and soloists, in France and abroad; his works have been performed by the Orchestre National d’Île de France, the Ensemble Intercontemporain, the Trio à Cordes de Paris, the Excelsis Percussion and the National Symphony Orchestra of Argentina. 
Currently edited by Durand / UMPC and Editions Henry Lemoine, Alex also participates in the Mentoring Program of the Peter Eötvös Foundation.
