Biography

María Eugenia Luc (1958).

She studied at the National University (Argentina), Civica Scuola Milano, University Paris VIII and University of the Basque Country, and in the international courses (Musikinstitut Darmstadt, Accademie Chigiana di Siena, Manuel de Falla, etc.).

Her compositions received many internationals awards and have been world premieres in Europe, Asia and America.

She is currently a professor at Musikene – High School of Music of the Basque Country.

María Eugenia Luc has been invited to lecture in seminars by international institutions: Hochschule für Musik and Universität der Künste in Berlin, Conservatorio di Parma, High School of Music of Buenos Aires, etc.

She is the current Artistic Director of the Kuraia Ensemble.
